I consistently find myself at odds with the digitization of my work, I don't know why, truth be told. It generally looks the same, but there's a certain malaise that comes from having my work reduced to cold, binary pixels that leaves a certain amount of disappointment once a piece is scanned. Not that I hate it afterwards, it's just that a digital rendition of a drawn comic isn't as warm or inviting as a the original with all it's subtle tones that come from the paper, the erasures, and the differing levels of ink smattered on the surface. In time, I'll find a solution, but currently this is my artistic struggle. Really, more a gripe.
